Free E-Waste Roundup

This Saturday, February 25th, the Go Green Team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center will be presenting a FREE e-waste roundup.

Did you know that you should always recycle and properly dispose of your electronics because parts may contain contaminants such as lead, cadmium, beryllium, or brominated flame retardants? All of which have significant risk to persons handling e-waste and the environment in which it is disposed. Events like this allow for these products to be broken down properly and recycled into new objects.

The event will be held from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in the Vendor Parking Lot. (Please use the entrance on Buena Vista).

Accepted Items: Computers, Monitors, Laptops, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Televisions, LCDs, PC Peripherals, VCR/DVD Players, Facsimile Machines, Toner Cartridges, Power supplies, Auto/ Rechargeable Batteries, Cell/Landline Phones, Home Entertainment Systems, Small Portable Devices, and Most Electronic Waste.

NOT Accepted Items: Refigerators, Washers, Dryers, Light Bulbs, Household Batteries, Hazardous Waste, and All Medical Waste.
