FBI Won't Investigate Brad Pitt for Alleged Child Abuse Aboard Private Jet
The FBI announced that it will not be investigating Brad Pitt for alleged child abuse.
LOS ANGELES, CA -- The FBI reported Tuesday that it will not pursue its investigation into allegations that actor Brad Pitt was abusive to one of his children aboard a private flight that landed in Los Angeles County in September.
No charges have been filed against Pitt, who is in the midst of a divorce from actress Angelina Jolie, with whom he has six children.
"In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation," according to an FBI statement.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, citing confidentiality laws, declined comment earlier this month on reports that it had determined Pitt did not abuse his oldest son Maddox on the private jet.
Jolie reportedly claimed Pitt struck the boy without justification.
