Fire Tears Through North Hollywood Dollar Tree
The blaze threatened a nearby restaurant before firefighters could douse the flames.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A greater alarm fire tore through a one-story Dollar Tree store in North Hollywood Thursday evening. Los Angeles City Fire Department firefighters were able to stop the blaze before it could spread to a neighboring restaurant.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze in the 6000 block of North Lankershim Boulevard.
There were no injuries in the fire, and the cause was under investigation, said LAFD Brian Humphrey.
