Firefighters Tackle North Hollywood Church Fire
Firefighters quickly put out a blaze that damaged a two story church in North Hollywood Tuesday.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters made fast work Tuesday of a small blaze in a boarded-up church in North Hollywood.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported about 3:55 p.m. at 11042 Hartsook St., according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Twenty-six firefighters knocked down the flames in the two-story building in 14 minutes, keeping it from spreading, Bastman said.

The cause was under investigation and the estimated monetary loss was being tabulated.
