Free Cee Lo Green Show Tonight at Universal City

Chart-topping Rapper and singer Cee Lo Green will perform a free concert Thursday night to help inaugurate Universal CityWalk's "5 Towers" outdoor concert venue, a new permanent stage that will feature free concerts and entertainment. 

The concert is part of CityWalk's summer "Plugged In" concert series, which started on July 1. The show begins at 8 p.m. and the series will feature free, live music every weekend through August 28.

The "5 Towers" venue is the first major renovation to take place at the CityWalk in 10 years. According to Variety, the 31- by 24-foot stage features five 42-foot LED light-tower sculptures (the "five towers"), a 26-foot monitor and HD cameras. Motion capture technology will also allow visitors to see their silhouettes projected onto the stage's back wall, and they will also be able to manipulate the towers' lights through underground weight sensors.
