Gas Prices Going Back Up

The average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 15.3 cents higher than a month ago and 43.2 cents greater than a year ago, data show.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Monday for the 12th time in 13 days, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.782, its highest amount since Nov. 20.

The average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 15.3 cents higher than a month ago and 43.2 cents greater than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has increased 5.2 cents over the past 13 days, including 1.2 cents on Sunday.

The Orange County average price rose Monday for the 10th time in 11 days, increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.783, its highest amount since Nov. 18.

The Orange County average price is 4.8 cents more than one week ago, 17.1 cents higher than a month ago and 43.9 cents greater than a year ago.

The Orange County average price has increased 6.1 cents over the past 11 days, including 1.2 cents on Sunday.
