Habit Burger Opening Wednesday; New Convenient Store in NoHo

They sure move fast at Habit Burger. Just, their new location on Vineland Avenue at the intersection with Lankershim Boulevard and Camarillo Street was completely gutted.

But Patch dropped by Friday afternoon to see how construction was coming along and discovered that it is finished and the new restaurant is scheduled to open this Wednesday. The manager, Ramon, was holding an employee training session and let Patch in to take a peek (see photos).

New Convenient Store in NoHo

There's a new convenient store that opened in NoHo on Vineland Avenue (just up the street from the new Habit Burger) south of Magnolia. The store, Karina's Mini Grocery Store, has been open for three weeks and is at 5028 Vineland in what was an empty building.

The store is located on one of the most interesting couple of blocks in the Valley and it is certainly nice to see an empty building turned into a working business in this key NoHo corridor. Just a stone's throw away is , Lotus Vegas and . So if you are looking to buy a pack of smokes, a gallon of milk or a six-pack of Coke, but don't want to wait in the long lines at Ralph's, stop by and check them out.
