Happy Ending for Teens Missing in Devil's Canyon
Credit one very determined father who went out and found them in the dark, and then waited for search and rescue.

Searchers on foot who spent the night looking for two 17-year-old boys around the Devil’s Canyon Trail in the San Gabriel Wilderness area found them safe and sound this morning, a sheriff’s sergeant said.
The father of one boy searched on his own and found them, then waited for the search and rescue team to find the three of them about 5:30 a.m., said Sgt. Cynthia Gonzales of the Sheriff’s Crescenta Valley Station.
The boys were reported missing at 9:52 p.m. Monday by the mother of one of them when they failed to return as planned, Gonzales said. One teen’s car was found parked at the Devil’s Canyon trailhead, about 25 miles from La Canada- Flintridge.
