Help Needed Finding Missing North Hills Girl

Candy Flores' whereabouts have been unknown since about 10 a.m. Friday.

NORTH HILLS, CA -- Authorities Monday sought the public's help in locating a 13-year-old girl last seen at her North Hills middle school three days ago.

Candy Flores' whereabouts have been unknown since about 10 a.m. Friday, when she was seen at Sepulveda Middle School, 15330 Plummer St., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"Candy did not home after school and has not been seen since," according to a police statement that says she "is known to frequent the area near North Hills Park and Sepulveda Recreation Center, both in the area of Rayen Street and Burnet Avenue."

The teen is Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 115 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black-and-white striped shirt and blue jeans when she was last seen.
