Hey, NoHo Arts District, Ask Your New City Councilman Paul Krekorian a Question on Patch
The Ask Paul column provides you an opportunity to directly communicate with the Council District 2 representative, who will be taking over representation of the NoHo Arts District on July 1.
The Los Angeles City Council voted Friday to approve a new map of the members' 15 district boundaries.
Those boundaries -- recommended by the City Council's Redistricting Commission -- will be in place until after the next census in 2020.
As a result of the redistricting process, the NoHo Arts District will be moved from Council District 4 to Council District 2 this coming July 1, and from the representation of Councilman Tom LaBonge to Councilman Paul Krekorian. Until July, LaBonge will continue to serve the Arts District. (Editor's Note: an earlier version of this story did not mention that LaBonge will continue to serve NoHo until July.)
