Injured Griffith Park Hiker To Be Airlifted
A 74-year-old woman suffered an injury while hiking in Griffith Park Thursday morning.

LOS ANGELES CA — An air rescue crew is working to save a hiker, who was injured in Griffith Park Thursday morning.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews got the call shortly after 11 a.m. to help a 74-year-old woman who suffered a lower body injury while hiking in the wilderness park. LAFD Air Ops were called to the scene to try to hoist the woman to safety out of steep terrain in the 2800 block of East Observatory Road.
