Jalisco Eatery Opens on Lankershim

Luna Restaurant & Nightclub opened a few weeks ago at 6439 Lankershim Blvd. and features Mexican cuisine with a Jalisco spin.

"It's grandma's cooking, delicious and healthy," said owner Ruben Aguinaga.

The restaurant includes two full bars and an outdoor dining patio with a smoking section.

Notable dishes include costillitas, which are bite-size prk ribs simmered with molcajete salsa, steak picado, enchiladas and fajitas.

Luna also features a nightclub for dancing and karaoke open Thursday through Sunday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

DJs spin everything from salsa to top 40, cumbia and merengue.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Happy hour is from 3-7 p.m.  with specials like two for Tuesdays and margarita Mondays.
