LaBonge to Dedicate Square in Honor of Long-Time Toluca Lake Residents Bob and Dolores Hope
The ceremony will take place intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Moorpark Street.

On Monday at 9 a.m., the day after the Academy Awards ceremony, and his wife, philanthropist Dolores Hope, will be immortalized with a square in their honor at the Toluca Lake intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Moorpark Street, according to a press release sent out by Los Angeles City Councilman Tom LaBonge, who represents Toluca Lake.
LaBonge will be joined by the couple's daughter, Linda Hope, to unveil “Bob and Dolores Hope Square.” The corner is front of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where they were members.
“Bob and Dolores Hope were two of the greatest people ever. What a team,” said Councilman LaBonge in the press release. “They’re together in heaven right now, but they’re immortalized right here on this corner in Toluca Lake.”

Dolores . The couple lived in Toluca Lake together for over 60 years until Bob's death in 2003. Dolores continued to live in their home until her death.
