LAPD Motorcycle Officer Injured In North Hollywood Crash

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured Thursday afternoon in a collision with another vehicle on the Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood.

The collision was reported about 5:55 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway near Magnolia Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The officer was taken to a hospital, but a condition update was not immediately available, according to the LAPD.

A CHP officer said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Some lanes were closed as police, the CHP and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene.
