Laurel Hall School Celebrating 65 Years in North Hollywood

in North Hollywood is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year and is inviting all prospective parents interested in the school to come to its .

The open house takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the school's library and campus at 11919 Oxnard Street. The school is also holding a on Friday which will include a pep rally and football game and has invited members of the public interested in the school to attend.

Patch spent a morning with the Laurel Hall kids last spring as they cleaning up the beach at Santa Monica Bay.

Laurel Hall School began in 1947 as a mission of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of North Hollywood. The school's religious program "is designed to prepare our children to meet the challenges of the world with faith and compassion. In this spirit of inclusion, our school plays a pivotal role in fostering a happy, productive church-school-community relationship," according to its website.
