LAUSD's MiSiS a "Technological Disaster"
Once again, the district has failed both it's students and the taxpayers. BLOG.
The cost of MiSiS is now $130 million and “It could take a year to work out kinks in the system just to enter grades.” The district has said for months that the problems were “only” effecting 1% of the students, The Los Angeles Times now calls the program a “technological disaster.”
Tamar Galatzan says that MiSiS is “probably” the system we need. Shouldn’t she have determined that it was definitely what we needed before letting the district spend millions of dollars and interrupting the education of thousands of students?
