Learn to Belly Dance! (North Hollywood)

Study the graceful art of belly dance while building flexibility, agility and strength! This class will focus on refining and strengthening movements and isolations, as well as muscle control. Each class will begin with a thorough warm-up and stretches. We’ll work through the major and minor muscle isolations, improving agility and quality of movement, and we’ll put those isolations into action with drills and fun combinations using American Cabaret Belly Dance styling and interpretation. This class is mixed level and ideal for beginner students who want to work on belly dance fundamentals as well as for more experienced belly dance students who want to drill their technique.

Prior belly dance experience is not required. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move and a simple hip scarf if you have one. Bare stomach is optional. Drop-in students are always welcome!

Wednesdays from 6 - 7pm.

$15 to drop in or $60 for a 5 class card (expires 2 months from purchase).
