Looking for Miss America in the San Fernando Valley

The Miss America Scholarship Pageant is now taking applications for Miss San Fernando Valley, the official preliminary competition for Miss America, and Miss America's Outstanding Teen for the San Fernando Valley.

The pageant is scheduled to be held Nov. 20 at the Madrid Theater in Canoga Park.

LOOKING FOR THE NEXT MISS AMERICA IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

Applications are now being accepted for Miss San Fernando Valley and Miss San Fernando Valley's Outstanding Teen; the official preliminary for Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen.

Contestants need to be single; a US citizen age range for Miss America is 17 - 24; The Teen program is 13 - 17yrs of age. 17 year old seniors compete in Miss, and 17 year old juniors compete in the Teen division. Miss America is non profit and the largest scholarship base for women in the world. Last year they awarded over forty million dollars in scholarships.
