Man Crushed By Trailer During Argument North Hollywood

An effort to free the trapped ended with his death.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A 28-year-old man was killed when he was run over by a 25-foot trailer in North Hollywood Monday.

The driver of a Toyota Tundra that was towing the trailer became involved in an argument with the man about 4 p.m. in the area of 4700 N. Tujunga Ave., near Riverside Drive and the Hollywood (170) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The man climbed onto the left wheel well of the trailer and the Tundra moved, causing the trailer to collide with a concrete barrier and the man to fall to the ground. The left wheels of the trailer than ran over the man.

Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were called to the area and pronounced the man dead. His name was not released.

The death remained under investigation, but the LAPD noted no arrests were made.
