Man Gets 16 Years for Killing Prominent North Hollywood Tattoo Artist

A Los Angeles man pleaded no contest in the shooting death of tattoo artist Michael Christopher Pebley.

A Los Angeles man was sentenced to 16 years in state prison for the shooting death of a well-known tattoo artist during a fight in North Hollywood last year.

Robert Andrew Falcon, 32, pleaded no contest Nov. 17 to voluntary manslaughter and admitted that he used a firearm in the Oct. 9, 2014, killing of Michael Christopher Pebley, who was also known as “Trigz.”

Pebley -- a 40-year-old tattoo artist who had worked with artists including Chris Brown -- was shot to death near his North Hollywood tattoo shop.

Falcon and Pebley had been arguing and exchanging blows inside a shop next to the tattoo business before the fight spilled out on to the sidewalk, where the shooting occurred, according to Deputy District Attorney Jason Quirino.

Falcon was arrested 19 days later. He was sentenced late Monday, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
