Man Shot in the Leg During Carjacking

A person was shot in a leg in Studio City tonight during an attempted carjacking, police said.

The male victim was shot just before 7 p.m. in the 4300 block of Babcock Avenue near Woodbridge Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A desk officer at the LAPD’s North Hollywood Station said the victim was taken to a hospital.

Police said male suspects fled the scene, but didn’t say how many.
