Marijuana Crop Goes Up in Smoke in North Hollywood Commercial Fire
BREAKING: A marijuana grow operation was damaged in a commercial fire in North Hollywood Thursday morning.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A marijuana grow operation caught fire in a commercial building in North Hollywood Thursday morning.
The fire damaged one unit of the building at 8200 block of Lankershim Boulevard, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the blaze at about 10:30 a.m. Crews quickly extinguished the fire in about 20 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet released a dollar figure for the amount of damage caused in the fire.
