NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Wind knocked a massive tree onto a busy North Hollywood street Thursday afternoon outside the North Hollywood Library.
Luckily, no one was hurt when the large tree toppled over onto Magnolia Boulevard at Tujunga Avenue. The tree fell into the street just missing the statue of Amelia Earhart that stands outside the library during the afternoon rush hour.
The wind also knocked over another large tree in the region at about the same time. A large tree fell on top of a house in the 8800 block of Rosewood Avenue in West Hollywood. Once again, no injuries were reported, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
