Morning Fires Set Throughout North Hollywood Were Arson

Crews put out eight fires set in the early morning in North Hollywood and Sun Valley.

Eight individual fires that broke out this morning in the North Hollywood and Sun Valley areas are being investigated by the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Arson Section.

The fires started about 3 a.m. and included large waste bins, a mattress laid against an auto and outside structures burning next to a commercial building, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

All the fires were quickly put out, minimizing any damages and no one was injured, Scott said.
