Motorcyclist Killed In Toluca Lake Crash

TOLUCA LAKE, CA — A motorcyclist crashed into a center divider and was killed Monday on the Ventura (134) Freeway in Toluca Lake, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound Ventura Freeway at Cahuenga Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

A witness reported that the motorcyclist crashed into the center divider, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down the eastbound Ventura Freeway and transitions from the 170 and 101 Freeways to the eastbound Ventura Freeway during its investigation and clean-up.
