Neighborhood Council Valley Village Sponsors Blood Drive and Free Green Living Workshop

Here are two great ways to help save a life and save the planet.

Neighborhood Council Valley Village is sponsoring two events for the month of April. Both will take place at Colfax Charter Elementary School - 11724 Addison Street, Valley Village:

Blood Drive

Tuesday, April 10th 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Children's Hospital Los Angeles will be bringing their bloodmobile to Valley Village. Volunteers and/or blood donors are needed.

  • Blood donation takes just a half hour of your time.
  • Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh over 110 pounds and have not donated blood in the last eight weeks.
  • The day before donation drink extra fluids.
  • Eat a healthy meal at least four hours before donating - do not fast.
  • Bring I.D. with you (must have valid picture I.D.).
