A women's clothing boutique named Rose and Sage has popped up on Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake and features brand names like Genetic Denim, J Brand and Hudson.
Owner Soraya Ardakani, who grew up in the area, says her store's offerings will lean toward contemporary designs.
Located at 10143 Riverside Dr., Rose and Sage opened at a spot once slated to be a coffee shop expansion of Lucy's 51.
But restaurant owner Baret Lepejian said he ditched those plans when he bought Chez Nous and converted it into Luca's, which features a bakery.
Rose and Sage is having a grand opening event Friday from 5-9 p.m. Everything will be 10 percent off and hors d'oeuvres are to be served.
