New Year's Day Blaze Damages North Hollywood Home
No one was injured in the North Hollywood fire that took 30 firefighters to tackle.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Fire damaged a North Hollywood house Sunday, authorities said.
It was reported at 9:38 p.m. at 11760 West Hamlin St., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There was moderate smoke showing when firefighters arrived at the vacant craftsman home, Scott said.

The 30 firefighters put out the flames at 9:54 p.m., confining the damage to the front of the house, he said. No injuries were reported.
