No Injuries in Morning Big-Rig Crash on I-5

BREAKING: The truck hit the center divider and lanes in both directions were shut down, the CHP said.

BURBANK, CA – A big rig crash caused the closure of several lanes Thursday on a Burbank freeway, but no one was hurt.

The crash was reported at 3:33 a.m. on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway at Buena Vista Street, said California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio.

The big rig crashed into the center divider, prompting the closure of No. 1 and 2 lanes on both sides of the freeway. About 6:30 a.m., the southbound lanes were reopened, as was the No. 2 northbound lane, the CHP reported.
