A fire started outside a single-family home in Sun Valley and extended into the attic this afternoon, but no one was hurt.
The fire at 7634 Morella Ave. was reported at 4:22 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze, which was extinguished in 15 minutes by two dozen firefighters.
