North Hollywood Woman, 86, Missing Since Wednesday
Police are asking for help finding a North Hollywood dementia patient who disappeared from a care facility.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA - Authorities are asking for help finding an 86-year-old woman suffering from dementia who disappeared from her care facility in North Hollywood.
According to police Jean Heimer was last seen about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving her care facility at the Laurel Canyon and Chandler boulevards. Heimer depends on the use of her red walker to get around, and she requires medication. She left the facility without her dentures, according to police.
Heimer is white, with gray hair and brown eyes. She stands about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 105 pounds. She was last seen wearing a green coat or sweater with hood and gray pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the LAPD's North Hollywood Division at (818) 754-8412. Tipsters can also call the LAPD's 24-hour tipline at (877) LAPD-24-7 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
