Pedestrian Killed By Train On Sepulveda Boulevard

A Metrolink train struck and killed a pedestrian walking along Sepulveda Boulevard Wednesday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Metrolink train struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday in the Van Nuys area.

Paramedics sent to the 8000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard about 6:40 a.m. pronounced the person dead at the scene.

The incident involved Metrolink train 102, which was headed to Los Angeles From Ventura County, according to Metrolink.

Information was not immediately available on the gender or identity of the person. No one was hurt on the train.
