Police Hunt For Shooter In North Hollywood Neighborhood
One person has been shot in North Hollywood, and the shooter is not in custody yet.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police are searching for a shooter in North Hollywood near Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Street.
The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. in the 6700 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, said Los Angeles Police Department Public Information Officer Sal Ramirez. A man was shot and rushed to the hospital.
"The suspect was a male hispanic wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, and he was last seen running northbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard," Ramirez said.

Authorities suspect the shooting was gang related.
