Police ID Man Shot to Death in North Hollywood Alley

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA - Authorities today released the name of a man shot to death in an alley in North Hollywood.

He was 27-year-old Santos Sanchez, according to the coroner’s office.

Sanchez’s body was found in an alley near Vineland Avenue and the 11000 block of Kittridge Street about 11 p.m.  last Monday, said an officer at the LAPD’s North Hollywood Station.

He was dead at the scene from a fatal gunshot wound, the officer said.

A motive for the shooting was unknown.
