Police Identify 24-Year-Old Shot To Death In North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man shot to death in North Hollywood was publicly identified Monday.

He was Frank Serafin, 24, according to the coroner's office. Serafin's city of residence was not available.

The shooting occurred about 9:10 p.m. Friday in the 7300 block of Hinds Avenue, said Officer Jenny Houser of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.

Serafin was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner's office said.

A suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting death, she said, but no other information was released.
