Porn Industry Association Calls For Moratorium on Production Following Positive HIV Test

The Free Speech Coalition says the unnamed performer's initial test came back positive at an industry testing center.

The adult film industry’s trade association called for a moratorium on porn production today in response to a performer potentially being positive for HIV.

According to the Free Speech Coalition, the unnamed performer’s initial test came back positive at an industry testing center, but the results of additional tests to confirm the diagnosis were still pending.

“Confirmatory tests are not yet back but we are taking every precaution to protect performers and to determine if there’s been any threat to the performer pool,” said Diane Duke, CEO of the Free Speech Coalition.
