Pot Advocates' Lawsuit Pushes Back on Federal Crackdown in CA

Attorneys for medical marijuana advocates in California seek a temporary restraining order to put a stop to a federal crackdown on California dispensaries.

Claiming the effort by the state's four U.S. attorneys is unconstitutional, attorneys for medical marijuana advocates in California sought a temporary restraining order Monday to put a stop to a federal crackdown on California dispensaries, according to the Huffington Post.

The state's four federal prosecutors last month announced a broad effort to close pot clubs. At  the same time, they fired a warning shot to all dispensaries by making good on the threats and as well as charging six people connected to a previous shop at the same location with drug trafficking charges.
