Power Still Out For 955 In Los Angeles County, 461 In Panorama City
For the second morning in a row, crews were working Thursday to restore power to customers in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA - For the second morning in a row, crews were working to restore power to thousands of customers in Los Angeles due to weather- related outages.
Outages peppered the Southland Wednesday when heat advisories were in force across Los Angeles County.
The number of Department of Water and Power customers who were still without power Thursday has been reduced from the thousands to 955 customers, according to DWP spokesman Michael Ventre.

Of those, some 461 customers were still without power in Panorama City and the other 494 outages were scattered throughout the DWP's entire service area, Ventre said.
Southern California Edison also reported outages Thursday morning affecting more than 1,400 of their customers in Los Angeles County and more than 1,500 in Riverside County.
