Public Asked To Help ID Wheelchair-Bound NoHo Man's Killers

Police are asking for help identifying the killer who repeatedly shot a North Hollywood man in an apparent driveby.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A wheelchair-bound man was shot to death in North Hollywood, and police are asking for the public's help finding his killer Monday.

North Hollywood resident Isauro Birrueta, 26, was shot repeatedly Friday night. Los Angeles Police arrived on the scene at 11 p.m. Friday in the 11700 block of Runnymede Street to find Birrueta slumped sitting in his chair suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

According to police, a vehicle moving west on Runnymede Street appeared to stop mid-block and multiple gunshots were heard. Detectives canvassed the area for surveillance video, witnesses and other evidence.
