Recognize This Armed Robber?

Police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed two gas stations at gunpoint.

STUDIO CITY, CA - The Los Angeles Police Department today sought the public's help in identifying an armed suspect who robbed gas stations in Studio City and the Cahuenga Pass in less than four hours.

The robberies occurred on April 9 at 1:50 a.m. in the 12500 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Whitsett Avenue, in Studio City and at 5:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of Cahuenga Boulevard in the Cahuenga Pass, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

In both robberies, the suspect entered the gas station, confronted an employee with a gun, and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The suspect was described as a 30-to-40-year-old man, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds with a gray beanie and possible a "lazy" left eye. He last seen driving a red, four-door 2015 Chevrolet Cruze with a sunroof.

Both robberies were captured on surveillance video.
