Robbery Suspect Arrested Following Standoff In Valley Glen

SWAT officers surrounded a vehicle outside a Valley 7-Eleven where a robbery suspect was barricaded Friday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A robbery suspect barricaded himself inside a vehicle Friday in Valley Glen.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called to respond to a report of a robbery at approximately 3:30 a.m. to 12463 Victory Blvd. Police found the robbery suspect who was outside a 7-Eleven convenience store, according to LAPD.

SWAT officers were called to the scene, and an hour-long standoff ensued before the suspect surrendered to police. Police arrested the suspect at about approximately 4:40 a.m.
