Series Of Suspicious Fires Doused Near Tujunga Wash
Three small fires broke out in Sunland Thursday night but were quickly put out.
SUNLAND, CA — Three small fires, considered suspicious, broke out Thursday afternoon near the Tujunga Wash in Sunland, but no injuries were reported.
The fires were reported about 5:10 p.m. near the middle of the Tujunga Wash, west of the 11100 block of Oro Vista Avenue, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fires consumed a total of over 400 square feet of brush, Humphrey said.

Crews contained the flames in about 35 minutes, and no structures were threatened, according to Humphrey.
By 7:50 p.m., the fires were fully extinguished.
