'Shameless' Actor Ethan Cutkosky Suspected Of Driving On Drugs

Ethan Cutkosky, an actor in Showtime's "Shameless" was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of marijuana: BREAKING.

BURBANK, CA — Actor Ethan Cutkosky, who appears on the Showtime series "Shameless," was arrested in Burbank on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after allegedly admitting to police that he had smoking marijuana earlier that night, authorities said Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Burbank resident was driving near Olive Avenue and Lamer Street about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 2 when he was stopped "for unsafe speed, an unsafe turning movement, and lane straddling," said Burbank police Sgt. Derek Green.

Cutkosky, who plays one of William Macy's children on the show, was booked into the Burbank city jail and released several hours later on a citation, Green said. He's scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29.

"Upon contacting Mr. Cutkosky, police officers smelled the distinct odor of burnt marijuana," Green said. "Mr. Cutkosky told the officers he had smoked marijuana earlier in the evening. The police officers conducted a DUI investigation which resulted in the arrest of Mr. Cutkosky on suspicion of DUI, drugs."

He said results of a chemical blood test are pending.
