SigAlert Declared in 170 Freeway Crash Injuring 10
One person was trapped in the wreckage of a crash that injured 10 and brought the Hollywood (170) Freeway to a crawl.
North Hollywood, CA - A crash on the Hollywood (170) Freeway injured 10 people Thursday and triggered a SigAlert expected to last until roughly 4 p.m, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An accident involving a van and an SUV left one person trapped in the wreckage shortly before 2:30 p.m. just north of Sherman Way in North Hollywood’s Valley Glen area, a CHP dispatcher told Patch.com.
The crash initially blocked the carpool and three left lanes, but by 3:30 p.m., all but the carpool lane had reopened.
