Small Brush Fire Breaks Out Around Griffith Park

Firefighters battled a fire that burned almost a quarter acre of grass in Griffith Park​.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters tackled a fire that burned less than a quarter acre of grass in Griffith Park.

The blaze broke out at about 3:43PM, and it took firefighters ten minutes to put out the flames. The fire started by 4700 block of North Crystal Springs Drive in Griffith Park near the driving range of the Wilson & Harding Golf Courses.

No structures were threatened and no injuries have been reported, says the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey.
