Small Brush Fire Damages Griffith Park Facility Overnight
A small brush fire that scorched a bathroom in Griffith Park overnight remains under investigation.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A brush fire damaged a toilet in Griffith Park Wednesday morning, but no injuries were reported.
The blaze broke out at 3:58 a.m. at 2100 N. Fern Dell Drive, said Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 46 firefighters 23 minutes to extinguish the flames, which covered a 30 by 50 feet area of brush, including the toilet, Bastman said.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation, she said.
