8/9-Sounds of the 60s (the 1860s)
Travel back in time to the 19th century with this day-long celebration of Civil War-era music.

Date/Time: Sunday, August 9th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm

The Band of the California Battalion, a recreation of a Union Brass Band, will play some of the great martial music of the Civil War, from Battle Hymn of the Republic to Dixie, while Sausage Grinder, a local country blues band, performs songs that kept soldiers entertained around the campfire. Visit Crossroads West Cafe for a plate of BBQ and explore Empire and Liberty, an exhibition that will change the way you look at—and listen to—the Civil War.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in period dress or uniform. No firearms or weapons, including replicas, are permitted on site.
