Steven Adler Recording Album With New Band in North Hollywood

The news comes at the same time that Adler parts ways with bassist Chip Z'Nuff.

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler entered in North Hollywood this week to begin recording a new album with a new band, according to Blabbermouth.net.

Adler lives in Studio City and in the spring as his band, Adler's Appetite, was getting ready for a cross-country tour. At the end of a session on Monday, Adler tweeted, "What an amazing day. We finished our first song today. I'm soooo thrilled we [are] headed in the right direction."

But that new direction apparently will be without bassist Chip Z'Nuff, who announced this week via his Facebook page that he was no longer in the band. Z'Nuff, who founded the band Enuff Z'Nuff, wrote, "To Quote the Late Great George Harrison, All things must pass. So I move on with my life, as I'm no longer with Steven Adler's "Adler's Appetite". Keep your ears open for new music coming soon! Peace and Love, Chip!"

It was Z'Nuff who after their , which kicked off a summer tour, that the band had just inked its record deal, which he called "massive." He declined to name the label that signed them, which still has not been released publicly, according to Blabbermouth. That deal and the new album at the time was believed to be an Adler's Appetite project.
