SWAT Team Surrounds Barricaded Man in North Hollywood
A crisis negotiator was able to coax a suicidal man into surrendering.

UPDATED AT 1:10 P.M.: An armed man threatening to kill himself in North Hollywood has surrendered to police.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT Team has surrounded a home in North Hollywood where an suicidal man with a gun is holed up.
The man has barricaded himself at a home on the 11300 block of Keswick Street.

“At 9:35, we responded to a call of a suicidal man with a gun,” said Los Angeles Police Officer Tony Im. “He’s currently barricaded himself inside the residence, and there are no hostages.”
Along with the SWAT Team, a crisis negotiator is working to coax the man into surrendering peacefully, Im said.
