Tasty Tidbits: Tailgate at The Federal, New Philly's Best Opening

It offers original Philly food, including Wise potato chips, Frank's Soda, PA Dutch Birch Beer, and Tastykakes. No alcohol. The Federal Bar in Noho is hosting an indoor tailgating for Dodgers Games. Come to the Federal before the Dodgers game with a metro pass or wearing Dodgers apparel and get the "grand slam" — three mini burgers and any tap beer for $10 or get 20 percent off regular food items. Go eat breakfast at Fire Station 78 on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. The Studio City firefighters will be flipping pancakes for a special cause. There's a great deal going on at Hugo's Restaurants beginning with the opening of its third location in Agoura Hills' Whizin's Center on September 26. 

All Hugo's Restaurants have added to their gluten free menu — there's a new gluten-free bread on the special Grilled Flat Bread Veggie Sandwich. In addition, look for gluten free Blueberry Pancakes, Vegetable Empanadas and green Lemon-Ginger-Matcha Cake.

Hugo's Tacos in Studio City and Atwater Village is offering a Burrito Bento Box, Picnic for two with some some easy-traveling options for $15.50 — choice of two appetizers (Chips, guacamole and salsa or Green Tamales,) choice of four entrees, (Burrito, Bowl, Torta or Tostada) and Rice Pudding for two.

Get a taste of Greek food and culture without leaving Los Angeles at the 53rd Annual Pasadena Greek Fest  this Friday to Sunday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. The event will feature Greek food, pastries, Olympic Taverna Sports Bar and Cigar Lounge, a wine chat, lectures, entertainment, cooking demonstrations and a kids zone. This Friday to Sunday,  The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival has it all — feast on Maine lobster, dance, enjoy parades and street performers, participate in a pirate camp, watch tall ships, shop for arts and crafts, and see some musical performances by some of incredible bands courtesy of KROQ.
